Cwm Plysgog Woods

Cwm Plysgog woods are delightfully situated between the River Teifi and the Cilgerran Wildlife Centre and consist of 17 acres of which 11 are neglected broadleaf woodland.Coppicewood gate

Access is by private track and there is limited parking by the entrance.

The teaching area is a short walk from the pedestrian gate along a well-defined footpath.

Our new Schoolroom and shelter together with compost toilet are now completed and in use, giving us excellent facilities whatever the weather.

The neglected areas of woodland are being regenerated to a woodland management plan, some of which will be carried out by students as part of the woodland skills course and the rest by volunteers of the school.

We teach traditional methods of coppiceing using original designs of hand tools and work implements.
